I focus on I communicate through my artwork. First thing I did for the Bully project was cutting a piece of paper to a 6 by 6 square. Then I made 8 squares. Then on each one I put one letter on it. Then I painted the piece of paper. Then I put all 6 by 6 square on a red piece of paper and spelled BULLYING. Then I cut 8 more 6 by 6 squares. The I put a quote on each one about bullying. The two elements are art that stand out in my artwork is color and lines. For the color the word BULLYING are red or blue. For lines the letter in the square. Some lines are straight and others are more curved.
I've been working with paint. I've put tape on the piece of paper then painting on it. After that taking the tape off the paper. I'm creating original artwork.
One artist that inspire me is Vincent Van Gogh. With his sunset paintings. Even Though he is not that famous for sunset paintings the painting are inspired. It not the kind of painting I do but his are beautiful. When he does the painting do not look like he used paint. To me it looks like oil pastel not paint. I connect with this artist because he does sunsets with paint. He uses space to make his artwork flow across the piece of paper or canvas. Vincent Van Gogh did all types of media in his lifetime. The reason why he inspires me is his brush technique and the way his paintings flow.
